ABOUT THE BIKE

After spending Nov/Dec 2015 riding around New Zealand on a KTM 990, I came back to UK and decided that I wanted a similar riding position but in a lighter package, with enough torque to have fun on UK roads without a bunch of wasted top-end power. That’s when I found my 690.

Starting out in relatively standard trim I’ve continued to add modifications over the years. I’ve always aimed to keep the modifications subtle but striking and to give the bike a retro-scrambler motif but on a more modern platform.
